Differences in Knowledge and Self-Confidence Before and After Pediatric CPR Education among Students of the Department of Early Childhood Education

Abstract
This study is a similar experimental study to find out the degree of change in knowledge and self-confidence before and after pediatric CPR education. The subjects of the study were 54 students from the Department of Early Childhood Education, and data were collected before and after CPR training on December 3, 2022. As a result of the study, pediatric CPR knowledge improved by 22.9 points from 54.4 points before education to 77.3 points after education, and performance confidence improved by 14.3 points from 73.2 points before education to 87.6 points after education. In conclusion, it was confirmed that pediatric CPR training increased the knowledge and performance confidence of early childhood education students. Therefore, it is necessary to make institutional improvement efforts to professionally learn technical skills faithful to the theoretical basis
